What made it so special, was one of the contestants - J Hill - who I did not know at the time, is good friends, with my uncle, Gary T. I thought Gary T was the dopest MF alive! I looked up to him like he was 8ft tall. So seeing him on TV with J Hill was huge for me. Monumental! I seen how much he loved hip hop, and from that point on, this has always been my passion. I wanted to be better J Hill. I wanted that acceptance from my uncle.
